The International Medical Scientific Forum is taking place in Bishkek, dedicated to modern methods of integrated treatment of cardiovascular and non-communicable diseases using artificial intelligence and digital technologies. As part of this event, the "Mirrahimov Readings" conference is also being held.
Representatives from the health ministries of the SCO countries, as well as international experts and partners, including representatives from the World Health Organization, have gathered for the event.
The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Edil Baisalov, opened the forum, noting its significance as a platform for discussing relevant approaches in cardiology and non-communicable diseases, the introduction of advanced technologies, and artificial intelligence into medical practice.
Edil Baisalov emphasized that special attention is paid to the problems of cardiology and non-communicable diseases in Kyrgyzstan, as reflected in the national program "Healthy Heart 2025-2030," approved by the president last year.
This program aims to reduce the level of premature mortality, strengthen preventive measures, create a patient-oriented model of medical care, and implement digital analytical solutions in clinical practice.
The Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Damir Osmonov, noted that cardiovascular and non-communicable diseases pose a serious problem for healthcare systems worldwide. In Kyrgyzstan, more than half of all mortality cases are related to cardiovascular diseases, and together with non-communicable diseases, they account for about 80%.

The following events are planned as part of the forum:
- the first congress of interventional radiologists of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- discussion on the implementation of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in medical practice;
- international sessions and master classes on the treatment of cardiovascular diseases;
- signing of memorandums of cooperation between the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy and leading medical institutions in Russia and Kazakhstan;
