The International Medical Forum and 'Mirrahimov Readings' are taking place in Bishkek

The International Medical Forum dedicated to modern approaches to the integration of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the treatment of cardiovascular and non-communicable diseases has started in Bishkek. Alongside this, a scientific-practical conference titled "Mirrahimov Readings" is taking place.

Representatives from the health ministries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries, as well as international experts and partners, including the World Health Organization, are participating in the event.

In a welcoming speech to the participants, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Edil Baisalov, emphasized the importance of the forum as a platform for discussing modern treatment methods and the implementation of innovative solutions in medicine.

Baisalov highlighted that special attention is given to cardiology and non-communicable diseases in Kyrgyzstan. This is reflected in the state strategy outlined in the national program "Healthy Heart 2025-2030," which was approved by the president last year.

According to him, the goal of the program is to reduce premature mortality, improve prevention, and create a patient-centered model of medical care using digital analytical tools in clinical practice.

The Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Damir Osmonov, noted that cardiovascular and non-communicable diseases remain a serious global issue for healthcare systems. In Kyrgyzstan, more than half of all mortality cases are related to cardiovascular diseases, and together with non-communicable diseases, they account for about 80%.

He added that behind these numbers are human lives and destinies, and therefore it is necessary not only to treat but also to develop prevention, diagnostics, and medical assistance in a systematic manner.

Forum participants include representatives from the health ministries of SCO countries, as well as international experts and partners, including WHO.

The program of the forum includes the following events:
