According to the presented data, malignant neoplasms continue to remain one of the key categories in the statistics. During the specified period, the number of newly registered cases increased from 2,566 thousand in 2010 to 3,371 thousand in 2023. The increase in breast cancer cases is particularly notable: from 530 registered cases in 2010 to 745 in 2023. Cervical and uterine body cancer also remains a significant issue — in 2023, 605 cases were registered, despite fluctuations in previous years.
The number of ovarian cancer cases has also increased, reaching 248, which is one of the highest figures recorded over the years. At the same time, a decrease is noted in several infectious and social diseases. For example, cases of active tuberculosis decreased from 2,341 thousand in 2010 to 1,602 thousand in 2023. Similarly, the number of registered cases of alcohol dependence decreased from 361 cases to 92.
Statistics also show fluctuations in the area of mental health. The number of registered mental disorders and behavioral disorders peaked at 1,843 cases in 2017, while in 2023 it amounted to 1,200 cases.
Among diseases of the urinary system, changes are observed in chronic pyelonephritis: after an increase at the beginning of the period under review (up to 13,033 cases in 2013), the figure gradually decreased to 7,631 cases in 2023.
In gynecological practice, a decrease in the number of cases of cervical erosion and ectropion has been recorded — from 9,898 cases in 2010 to 4,105 in 2023. However, the number of menstrual disorders has also decreased compared to the beginning of the period, but in recent years there has been an increase — reaching 5,752 cases in 2023.
The number of cases of female infertility fluctuated throughout the entire period under review and amounted to 1,247 cases in 2023, which is lower than the figures at the beginning of the decade.
Particular attention should be paid to the dynamics of pregnancy complications. After an increase to 69,571 cases in 2017, the figure decreased to 33,245 in 2020, but then began to rise again, reaching 60,538 cases in 2023.
Thus, statistical data indicate an increase in oncological diseases among women in recent years, while a decrease is observed in some infectious and social diseases. Issues related to reproductive system diseases and pregnancy complications continue to be relevant, requiring further attention from the healthcare system.
