During the meeting, ways to improve medical waste management were also considered, including strengthening state control and introducing modern technologies for disinfection and disposal. Experts proposed standards for laboratory work and the system for handling medical waste.
Kanibek Dosmambetov emphasized that the development of the laboratory service and effective management of medical waste are priorities of state policy in the healthcare sector, which directly impact disease prevention, timely diagnosis, and the protection of citizens' health.
Relevant departments were instructed to continue working on improving these areas and to implement the set tasks in stages.
