According to available information, in the Talas region, in order to eliminate the staffing shortage in the medical field, 18 doctors and 15 residents have been continuously working in the region since September 2025, following the initiative of the regional head, Ermat Jumayev.
To support the doctors, one of the funds has signed an agreement for monthly additional payments, and currently, the specialists receive these funds in full for each month worked.
In particular, doctors receive up to 40,000 soms depending on their workload, while residents receive 12,000 soms.
During a meeting with the doctors, the regional head stated that comprehensive support would be provided to the working specialists. The presidential envoy informed that the additional payments would not cease and would be made continuously.
