The Ministry of Health is creating a unified database for children with special diseases.

In Kyrgyzstan, a unified database is currently being developed that will contain information about children suffering from autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other diseases. This was reported by the First Deputy Minister of Health Aibek Matkerimov at a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with issues of labor, health, women's rights, and social matters.

During his speech, he presented the following data:

Down syndrome: 135 children in 2022, 135 in 2023, and 161 in 2024;

Autism: 99 children in 2022, 90 in 2023, and 82 in 2024;

Cerebral palsy: 753 children in 2022, 586 in 2023, and 527 in 2024.

Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva expressed concern about the discrepancies in the data and suggested creating a centralized database for their unification.

In response, Aibek Matkerimov stated that work on creating such a database is already underway and is in the final stages.
