As clarified by the Center's administration, the photographs that caused public concern were taken in the summer of 2025, when the City Perinatal Center was undergoing repairs, which significantly increased the load on the medical facility.
Currently, the postpartum department of the Center has been expanded, additional beds have been added, and all necessary conditions for the comfortable accommodation of patients have been created.
According to information provided by the Center's director Nurgul Shoonaeva, the institution, designed for 80 beds, is temporarily accommodating 106 women. The Center is a third-level medical facility and serves patients with complicated pregnancies and severe conditions from all corners of the country.
Furthermore, according to Nurgul Shoonaeva, in 2025, the number of births increased by a thousand compared to the previous year. All patients receive the necessary medical care, and there are no refusals for hospitalization; work is carried out around the clock.
