Analysis of the causes of infant mortality shows that the majority are due to perinatal conditions, which account for 65.7% of the total cases (1224 children). In second place are congenital anomalies, which make up 15.5% (289 children), and in third place are respiratory diseases with 8.2% (152 children).
At the same time, there has been an increase in cases of infectious and parasitic diseases, which amounted to 28.1%.
