At the meeting of the committee on labor, health, women's affairs, and social issues, Deputy Sovetbek Rustambek uulu addressed the head of the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund (MHIF) with a request to clarify which categories of citizens can expect preferential medical services.
The director of the MHIF, Azamat Mukhanov, reported that this category includes working citizens, pensioners, children, full-time students, military personnel, as well as unemployed individuals registered in the official registry.

He added: “Previously, farmers were also included in this group; however, starting from July 1, 2025, they will no longer be included. The cost of the annual insurance policy is 1840 soms, and farmers will be able to purchase it.”
In response to the deputy's question about the possibility of free testing at the local clinic based on residence, Mukhanov clarified that residents with registration can undergo 12 types of tests for free. Additionally, holders of insurance policies can undergo about 40 types of biochemical tests without payment.
