In Kyrgyzstan, 15,869 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered in a week

From January 12 to 18, Kyrgyzstan registered 15,869 cases of ARVI and influenza. This is an increase of 28.8% compared to the previous week, as reported by the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Department.

According to epidemiologists, the current situation in the country remains stable.

Of the total number of cases, 76.7% are children under 14 years old, which is equivalent to 12,167 cases. Hospitalization affected 17.4% of all patients — a total of 2,759 cases.

In Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok, monitoring of the situation with severe acute respiratory infections (SARI) and influenza-like illnesses (ILI) continues.
