In the third week of 2026, from January 12 to 18, there were recorded 15,869 cases of influenza and acute respiratory infections, marking an increase compared to the previous week.
It was previously reported that morbidity was decreasing.
Of the total number of cases, 76.7% are children under 14 years old, which corresponds to 12,167 cases. Hospitalization affected 17.4% of all those infected, amounting to 2,759 cases.
Epidemiological monitoring of severe acute respiratory infections and influenza-like illnesses continues in cities such as Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok.
