At the beginning of the meeting, the deputy minister presented the priority tasks of the agency and emphasized the importance of cooperation with local authorities. Among the main topics of discussion were:
- simplification of procedures for cutting down trees that pose a threat;
- reduction of bureaucratic obstacles;
- construction of sewage infrastructure in the Nookat district;
- development of facilities in the specially protected natural areas of "Kara-Shoro" and "Kyrgyz-Ata".
Particular attention was given by the participants to the problems of land degradation in the Alaï district, arising from the extraction of mineral resources. Issues related to improving the licensing procedures for subsoil use in Chon-Ala and the lack of funds for land reclamation were also discussed.
In conclusion, Minister Akyl Toktobaev emphasized that the solution to the region's environmental problems will be carried out in cooperation with local authorities. He also announced the start of a comprehensive inventory of licenses for subsoil use.
