Dastan Bekeshev emphasized that the goal of the proposed draft law is to clearly define the types of activities permitted for elected officials, aside from their primary work. This will help eliminate the risks of unjustly stripping deputies of their mandates due to ambiguity in the interpretation of such concepts as "scientific," "educational," and "creative" activities.
Another deputy, Dastanbek Jumabekov, suggested adding coaching to the list of permitted activities, noting that this work is also compensated. "This point should be taken into account in the draft law," he added.
The initiator of the draft law agreed with this recommendation and reported that the proposal will be considered in the second reading of the document.
