Sadyr Japarov Calls on Middle Eastern Countries for Constructive Dialogue
In a post on Facebook, he indicated serious concern from Kyrgyzstan about the escalating tensions in this region and its negative impact on Arab peoples.
“Unfortunately, the conflict has erupted in the holy month of Orozo, which is a time for spiritual purification, forgiveness, and respect. We deeply sympathize with the peoples experiencing loss and suffering due to the large number of casualties among civilians. We condemn any actions that have led to such tragic consequences,” he wrote.
Japarov also emphasized that the Kyrgyz Republic, based on the UN Charter and recognized international norms, supports the unification of efforts by the global community for a peaceful resolution of the current situation.
“We call on all parties to exercise restraint, to immediately cease hostilities, and to take all necessary measures to swiftly return to constructive dialogue to resolve the conflict exclusively by peaceful means,” the president concluded.
