The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls for peace
Kyrgyzstan has expressed deep concern over the escalating tensions in the Middle East, as reflected in the official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry emphasizes that "Kyrgyzstan supports the united efforts of the international community for a peaceful resolution of the current situation in the region, based on the UN Charter and the principles of international law. We urge all parties to exercise maximum restraint, to immediately cease hostilities, and to take all possible measures to swiftly return to constructive dialogue in order to resolve the conflict by peaceful means," the statement notes.
Furthermore, the Ministry recommends that citizens of Kyrgyzstan avoid traveling to Iran until the situation normalizes.
For those who are already in Iran, in case of emergencies, it is recommended to immediately contact the diplomatic representations of Kyrgyzstan in the country.
