A deputy proposed to fine citizens and homeowners' committees for disrupting campaigning: from 10 to 20 thousand soms

The amount of the fine varies depending on the role of the offender


Dastan Bekeshev, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, has proposed introducing fines for individuals who obstruct campaigning during elections. Recently, he presented the corresponding amendments at a committee meeting.

The amount of the fine will depend on the status of the offender. Ordinary citizens may be fined 10,000 soms, while homeowners' committees, managers of management companies, and chairpersons of homeowners' associations may face a more serious fine of 20,000 soms.
