Along with the appointment, Chynybaev was relieved of his previously assigned duties.
It should be noted that a criminal case has been initiated against the former minister Urmatbek Shamyrcanov on suspicion of bribery.
Chynybaev was appointed as the acting head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on March 10. The following day, the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh approved his appointment as the Minister of Emergency Situations.
