The Cabinet banned the export of agricultural animals from Kyrgyzstan (deadlines)

In accordance with the new decree signed by Adylbek Kasymaliev, a temporary ban on the export of agricultural animals, including cattle, horses, sheep, and goats, is being introduced in Kyrgyzstan. This ban will be in effect for six months.

According to the classification of the EAEU Customs Code, the following are subject to restrictions:

animals with code 0102 — cattle;
horses with code 0101;
sheep and goats with code 0104.

Exceptions include:

transit shipments through the territory of the country;
competition horses participating in events;
horses given as gifts to countries, international organizations, or individuals;
animals exported by the state company "Kyrgyz Agrokholding," except for those raised in the country;
transportation of horses by air.

This decision was made to ensure food security in the country and stabilize prices for food products. Relevant state authorities have been instructed to implement this decree.
