The head of the Kyrgyz Cabinet inspected a number of medical institutions

Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and head of the President's Administration, made a working trip to medical institutions in Bishkek and the Chui region. The main task of the visit was to assess the progress of construction of new buildings and to address issues related to the material and technical support of these facilities.

The first inspection site was the Kyrgyz Scientific Center for Human Reproduction, where Kasymaliev was presented with the project of a new modern building. He emphasized the importance of protecting the reproductive health of the nation as a strategic priority. The relevant ministries were tasked with completing the project and estimate documentation as soon as possible and determining funding sources for the implementation of this project.

In addition, Kasymaliev visited the Chui Regional Unified Hospital named after E. Akramov (ChUOH), which is one of the busiest in the region. Here, about 18,000 patients receive treatment annually, approximately 6,000 surgical operations are performed, and up to 6,000 births take place.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers ordered the construction of a new building on the territory of ChUOH to create a unified modern medical cluster that will integrate all hospital services.

Following the visit, instructions were given to the relevant agencies and the Bishkek city administration for the prompt resolution of identified issues and coordination of efforts to modernize the healthcare system.
