Kyrgyzstan Returned 80,520 Seedlings from Uzbekistan Back

At the checkpoint "Kyzyl-Kiya" of the Batken Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Chemicalization, Protection, and Plant Quarantine, a phytosanitary inspection was conducted, as a result of which 80,520 seedlings from Uzbekistan did not pass the inspection. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution No. 103 dated February 13, 2026, "On the introduction of a temporary ban on the import of seedlings of fruit and berry varieties into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic," the entire batch was prohibited, and the seedlings were returned to the exporting country due to the absence of the corresponding varieties in the specified document.
