Kyrgyzstan strengthens the Kyrgyz-Tajik border
On March 3, a working meeting dedicated to border security issues was held in the village of Kulundu, located in the Leilek district. The event was led by Abdikarim Alimbaev, as reported by the press service of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan.

Participants included the command of military units and border divisions, as well as the akim of the Leilek district, Jenishbek Asylbek, and representatives of law enforcement and security agencies.

The agenda included discussions on the engineering arrangement of the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the border, measures to combat smuggling, and an analysis of the current global political situation.

As a result of the meeting, specific instructions were given to strengthen border protection using both physical and engineering means, enhance the effectiveness of preventive measures, and facilitate the exchange of relevant operational information between various units.
