Deputy: The family couldn't leave for Umra due to a fine they weren't even aware of
According to the deputy, before the trip, the family carefully checked their status for any debts using the "Tunduk" system and found no fines. However, when they arrived at the airport, Border Service officials did not allow them to board the flight, citing a debt of 1,000 soms. "This shows that there is a discrepancy between the data of the Border Service and the 'Tunduk' system, which leads to such problems. People suffer due to the lack of a unified database of debtors. As a result, the family incurred significant losses, as payment of the debt at the airport is processed only after three hours, and the plane will not wait," emphasized Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva.
In response, the First Deputy Head of the Border Service, Marat Maralbaev, noted that they have a system called SVM, which records all fines. "Yes, sometimes there are overlaps, as you mentioned. However, in such situations, we try to resolve the emerging issues promptly. Every citizen can check their debts using a QR code at the checkpoints," he added.
