At a recent parliamentary meeting, member of the Jogorku Kenesh Elvira Surabaldiyeva proposed to consider the work experience of students who work in state educational and medical institutions.
She noted that many students studying on a budget in the fields of pedagogy and medicine already work in schools and hospitals during their studies due to a shortage of staff. They are issued official employment contracts and perform full job responsibilities.
However, as Surabaldiyeva emphasized, fulfilling these responsibilities does not count towards the mandatory two-year service experience, which is an unfair decision.
In the deputy's opinion, if a student officially works in state institutions, this time should be counted towards their work experience and mandatory service period. She believes that such a measure will help reduce the staff shortage, support young specialists, and ensure stability in the fields of education and healthcare.
