At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Elvira Surabaldiyeva proposed the need to account for the work experience of students employed in state medical and educational institutions.

According to the deputy, many students studying on a budget in the fields of medicine and education work in state schools and hospitals due to a shortage of staff.

“They sign official employment contracts, receive work books, and fulfill full working hours, providing real services to the state. However, their working time during their studies is not counted towards the mandatory two-year service period, which I consider unfair,” Surabaldiyeva stated.

The deputy emphasized that if a student works officially in a state school or medical institution, that time should be counted towards their experience and mandatory service period. In her opinion, this will help solve the problem of staff shortages, support young specialists, and ensure stability in these fields,” she added.
