In 2025, 3,145 inspections of medical institutions were conducted in Kyrgyzstan, of which 959 pertained to private clinics. This was reported by Sanjar Temirbekov, head of the public health department, at a meeting of the relevant committee of the Jogorku Kenesh.

As a result of the inspections, 2,245 sanitary prescriptions were issued, and 1,111 responsible individuals were held administratively accountable. Due to serious violations of sanitary and epidemiological regulations, the operations of 116 institutions were suspended.

The total amount of imposed fines reached 3,349,000 soms.

Temirbekov also noted that the mandatory coordination of inspections with the Ministry of Economy and notifying private clinics ten days prior to the inspection create significant obstacles for effective control.
