Kanybek Dosmambetov has been relieved of his duties as Minister of Health

The Presidential Administration has issued a decree dismissing Kanybek Dosmbetov from the position of Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic. The information was provided by the president's press service. The document was signed today, but the reasons for the dismissal have not been disclosed.

The name of the acting Minister of Health will be announced soon, as well as the candidate who will be presented for approval to the Jogorku Kenesh.

Kanybek Dosmambetov was appointed to the ministerial position on December 24, 2025, and since December 1, he has been performing the duties of the head of the Ministry of Health.

Before taking the ministerial post, Dosmambetov worked in the field of state security, holding leadership positions, including the head of the Main Department of the State National Security Committee (GKNB) for the Jalal-Abad region.
