The Ministry of Emergency Situations received 116 units of special equipment
Today, February 23, a ceremony was held in Bishkek where new special equipment was handed over to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic. Adylbek Kasymaliev attended the event and congratulated everyone on Defender of the Fatherland Day on behalf of the government.

He noted that over the past five years, the ministry has received 652 units of equipment worth about 7 billion soms. The transfer of 116 new units of equipment was characterized as one of the most significant stages in the modernization of the ministry during the years of independence.

The head of the government stated that the budget of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for 2025 will exceed 5.5 billion soms. Additionally, throughout the year, the ministry was allocated additional funds, which were directed towards emergency recovery operations, infrastructure development, improvement of border areas with special status, construction of meteorological stations, and modernization of airfields.

At the end of the event, the chairman of the cabinet expressed gratitude to the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for their dedication to service and selflessness in preventing and eliminating the consequences of emergencies. He wished them health and success in their professional activities and handed over the keys to the new equipment to the Minister of Emergency Situations, Urmatbek Shamyurkanov.
