Kasymaliev assessed the current condition of the facilities, the pace of construction work, and the conditions provided for both patients and medical staff. Plans for the development of cardiac surgery in the country were also discussed during the visit.
Repair and construction work is being carried out at the National Center of Cardiology in various buildings, including the outpatient clinic, operating block, nephrology basement, food block, as well as the updating of engineering systems — water supply, sewage, electricity supply, and ventilation.
Particular attention was paid to the need for equipping medical institutions with modern equipment, which should contribute to improving the quality of cardiological care and enhancing conditions for patients.
The responsible agencies were instructed to monitor the progress of the work, the process of equipping the institutions, and the level of medical services provided.
