At today's meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva expressed her position against the abolition of the titles "Honored Doctor" and "Honored Health Worker."

She noted that depriving medical workers of state recognition in the context of a shortage of personnel and difficult working conditions is an unjust step that could negatively affect the atmosphere within the healthcare system.

Currently, the Jogorku Kenesh is considering the draft of a new law "On State Awards, Honorary Titles, and State Prizes" in its first reading. This project proposes a significant optimization that will reduce the total number of state awards from 46 to 20.
Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva emphasized the importance of medicine as the foundation of a strong state, adding that these honorary titles represent the only way to acknowledge the selfless work of doctors.

"State titles recognize many years of conscientious work, a high level of professionalism, and the dedication of doctors to their patients. Especially in our conditions, where doctors work under difficult circumstances. You are now removing their main motivation. I don't know about other professions, but doctors and education workers must always be motivated. This recognition is extremely important for them," she stated.

In Sadyrbaeva's opinion, the cancellation of awards in conditions of acute specialist shortages in the regions deprives both experienced doctors and the youth of the necessary motivation.
