Zheenbek Kulubaev outlined Kyrgyzstan's position on the issue of EU secondary sanctions

Jeenbek Kulubaev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, held a meeting with a delegation from the European Parliament, as reported by the ministry's press service.

During the negotiations, topics related to bilateral cooperation, inter-parliamentary interaction, and current regional issues were discussed.
Kulubaev presented European colleagues with information about the political and economic transformations occurring in the country, emphasizing their significance for the stable development of the republic. Among the initiatives presented were major projects such as the Kambar-Ata-1 hydropower station and the railway connecting China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
The minister also highlighted the importance of attracting modern technologies from Europe, pointing out the strategic significance of transport connectivity and energy security for the entire region.
The conclusion of the meeting took place in an open discussion format, where Jeenbek Kulubaev answered questions from delegation members on the most pressing and sensitive topics. He clearly outlined Kyrgyzstan's position regarding secondary sanctions, explaining the measures being taken by the country, and reaffirmed the commitment to international obligations.
