He noted that "reforms will happen," but did not specify what exact changes he plans to implement.
“We are committed to fulfilling all the tasks set before us by the president. All necessary reforms will be carried out,” he added.
Recall that earlier, President Sadyr Japarov emphasized that qualitative changes are expected in the GKNB.
“Today, national security faces new challenges that are different from those in the past. Considering modern realities, the GKNB must undergo a qualitative reform that corresponds to current threats and global changes. The world has changed, and our state institutions must also adapt and renew themselves,” the president noted.
Also today, the parliamentary committee on international affairs, defense, security, and migration approved the candidacy of Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov for the position of head of the special services.
