
Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu held a meeting with the head of the Turkish parliament
At a joint press conference held the day before, it became known that Turkey will support Kyrgyzstan in its desire to become a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. This statement was made by the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, during a conversation with Numan Kurtulmuş, the Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
Turgunbek uulu noted that the strengthening of ties between Presidents Sadyr Japarov and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has opened new horizons for cooperation between the two countries. According to him, many agreements have been signed that now require ratification.
In addition, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu invited representatives of Turkey to participate in the VI World Nomad Games.
In response, Numan Kurtulmuş emphasized the importance of Kyrgyzstan as a key partner and confirmed that Turkey will support Kyrgyzstan's candidacy for 2027-2028 as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
