Kamchybek Tashiev commented on his resignation

In social networks, journalist Nurgazy Anarkulov posted a statement from Kamchybek Tashiev, the former chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB). In his message, he touches upon the events of February 10, when he was dismissed.

“I was undergoing treatment in Germany with the president's permission to have examinations after surgery,” he noted.

However, yesterday I was dismissed. This came as a complete surprise to me.

Tashiev added that, despite what happened, it is necessary to respect the president's decision. “I served our country, the people, and the president sincerely, and I am proud of it. I am sad that I did not have the opportunity to say goodbye to the team,” emphasized the former head of the GKNB.

In his address, he also expressed gratitude to all GKNB employees and wished them success. “For peace and stability to prevail in our country, no one should resort to illegal actions, and all our actions must be lawful,” he added.

We remind you that on February 10, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree relieving Kamchybek Tashiev of his duties as Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security. Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov became the acting chairman of the GKNB, and three of Tashiev's deputies were also dismissed.
