According to information disseminated through various media outlets and social networks, it is claimed that the special forces regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been placed directly under the command of the country's president. However, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has denied these rumors, stating that such reports have no real basis and are false. The regiment continues its work as usual.

The agency urges the public to refer only to verified sources of information and not to succumb to the spread of unreliable data.

We remind you that on February 10, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree that relieved Kamchybek Tashiev of his duties as Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security. Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov has been appointed as the interim head of the SCNS, and there have also been changes in the composition of the deputies of the SCNS, three of whom have been dismissed.
