Kyrgyz honey will be sold in the EAEU countries

Kyrgyzstan will have the opportunity to export honey to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. This became known at a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh dedicated to agricultural policy, water resources, and ecology, where the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev spoke.

He noted that this became possible thanks to more than a year of negotiations, during which the republic achieved permission to sell honey within the EAEU.

“This is a significant achievement for us. There are 462 enterprises from Kyrgyzstan operating within the EAEU. In addition, we have plans for export to China,” added Minister Torobaev.
