Significant Growth of Kyrgyzstan's Economy — Bakyt Torobaev Discussed Reforms with the IMF

At a meeting with the permanent representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Farid Talashly, Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, reported that over the past three years, the average growth of Kyrgyzstan's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was 9 percent.
During the discussion, the parties touched upon the results of structural reforms carried out by the government in recent years. International rating agencies positively assessed the country's efforts to stabilize business activity and modernize infrastructure. According to Torobaev, these reforms have significantly improved the investment climate and supported key sectors of the economy.
