According to the new amendments, the Disaster Medicine Service now has the legal right to provide medical assistance to the population even in peacetime. For this purpose, medical personnel can be engaged, as well as specialized vehicles and mobile hospitals can be used. However, these actions must be carried out in accordance with the authorized body in the field of civil defense.
The document also emphasizes that all activities related to the implementation of these changes will take place within the framework of approved budgets and the staffing levels of the relevant government agencies.
