President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree for his dismissal, citing the Constitution and the Law "On Local State Administration and Local Self-Government Bodies."
He has been replaced by the new mayor, Almazbek Isakov.
Isakov has significant experience in municipal management and government structures, holding various leadership positions, including roles in agencies related to urban management.
Azat Salmurbek uulu served as mayor since October 2025.
