The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, signed a decree appointing Almazbek Isakov as the new mayor of Kara-Balta in the Chuy region.
This appointment followed the dismissal of the previous mayor of the city, Salmurbek uulu Azat, from his position.
