In the "Military Town" in Kant, the Ministry of Defense has initiated the eviction of residents from 20 apartments. Deputy Bakyt Tentishev raised this issue at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh.

According to the deputy, residents have already been evicted from four apartments.

“The Ministry of Defense has submitted documents for the eviction of more than 20 apartments. Last year, I spoke with the Minister of Defense; he met with the residents in an attempt to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, he did not have time to do so as he took another position. Now, there are no steps being taken by the agency to resolve the situation,” Tentishev noted.

Furthermore, the deputy emphasized that the problem with the boiler house, which he raised back in 2023, remains unresolved.
Bakyt Tentishev also pointed out the lack of funding from the Ministry of Defense for the improvement of the "Military Town," where there are neither playgrounds nor street lighting. The deputy proposes to transfer the management of the town to the Kant city administration.
