Among the 31 nominated candidates (21 men and 10 women), 11 individuals were registered by January 30, while four candidates decided to withdraw from participation.
The Central Election Commission did not register one of the candidates. According to the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic dated January 22, 2026, Mansuraliev Zalkarbek Medetbekovich does not meet the criteria as he has not resided in the country for the last five years prior to his nomination.
It was revealed that Mansuraliev spent 354 days abroad in 2021, 364 days in 2022, and 123 days in 2023.
The candidate registration process is ongoing.
It should be noted that on December 3, 2025, the Central Election Commission reviewed cases of violations in district No. 13, where 94 polling stations were organized. There are 160,340 registered voters in the district, and 14 candidates were nominated for the early elections. During the inspection, it was found that observers representing registered candidates at 35 polling stations illegally installed cameras on the day of voting, which violated the secrecy of the ballot. As a result, the CEC canceled the registration of all 14 candidates.
