Dastan Bekeshev: Taxi in Kyrgyzstan May Start Costing 700-800 Som
A deputy proposed to postpone licensing changes for six months
The price of taxi services in Kyrgyzstan could potentially rise to 700-800 soms, as reported by the deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Dastan Bekeshev.
He emphasized that starting from February 1, all taxis will be required to operate on a licensed basis.
“If the government does not make the necessary changes, many workers will be left without means of livelihood, and the cost of services will sharply increase — not 200-300 soms, but 700-800 soms,” Bekeshev noted.
