The head of the cabinet met with the regional director of the World Bank for Central Asian countries

On January 27, a meeting took place between Adylbek Kasymaliev and Nadji Benhassin, the regional director of the World Bank for Central Asia. During the discussion, the current state and future of bilateral cooperation were considered, as well as the implementation of key joint projects, budget support issues, and important legislative reforms, as reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The parties paid attention to plans for the current year and the medium-term perspective.

The World Bank representative noted positive changes in fiscal policy and emphasized that the reforms being carried out in the country contribute to the formation of a favorable economic environment. "Creating new jobs and improving the living standards of citizens is the foundation of sustainable growth. The World Bank is ready to provide full support on issues of mutual interest," Nadji Benhassin emphasized.

At the end of the meeting, Nadji Benhassin expressed the World Bank's readiness to be a reliable partner for Kyrgyzstan in implementing large-scale national development programs.
