The World Bank called Kyrgyzstan's economic growth indicators "very impressive"

At a meeting between the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, and the Regional Director of the World Bank for Central Asia, Nadji Benhassine, key aspects of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
According to the government, the main topics of the negotiations were the current state of partnership, the implementation of joint projects, and issues related to budget support and legislative reforms.

Kasymaliev expressed gratitude to the World Bank for its support in the area of socio-economic transformations, noting the importance of the trust placed in Kyrgyzstan by the international financial organization. He emphasized the country's readiness for an open dialogue to implement advanced global practices in public financial management.

The parties discussed plans for current and medium-term cooperation.

Nadji Benhassine, for his part, congratulated the Kyrgyz government on its successful achievements, noting that the current pace of economic growth in Kyrgyzstan is "very impressive" compared to the region.

The Regional Director highly appreciated the efforts of the Cabinet of Ministers to improve fiscal policy and pointed out that the ongoing reforms create a positive economic context.

"Stable growth implies the creation of new jobs and an improvement in the living standards of the population. You can count on the full support of the World Bank in areas of mutual interest," he added.

In conclusion of the meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev expressed hope for further productive cooperation, and Nadji Benhassine confirmed the World Bank's readiness to be a reliable partner of the Kyrgyz Republic in implementing ambitious national development programs.
