The President emphasized the importance of the light industry as a strategic sector of the economy that creates jobs and generates export revenues. He insisted that the responsible agencies take prompt and targeted measures.
As a result of the discussion, Sadyr Japarov gave specific instructions to the Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev, as well as to the relevant ministers and heads of government agencies, to address the accumulated problems and systematically develop the light industry.
The President will personally monitor the progress of work in this direction.
