Emilbek Abdykadyrov has become the new akim of the region
Changes in leadership have occurred in the Chuy region: a new akim has been appointed. This was officially announced by the press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the provided information, Emilbek Abdykadyrov, who previously held the position of akim of the At-Bashy district in the Naryn region, will now head the Chuy district.
It is worth noting that his predecessor, Ruslan Tagaev, was detained by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB). He is accused of abusing his official powers, specifically, he is suspected of illegally issuing permits for the extraction of sand and gravel mixtures.
