After the scandal in the Chui region, a new akim has been appointed

Personnel changes have occurred in the region. As reported by the president's press service, Emilbek Abdykadyrov, who previously held the position of akim of the At-Bashinsky district of the Naryn region, has now been appointed the new akim of the Chui district. This directive was signed by the country's president.

It is worth reminding that on December 16, the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) detained Ruslan Tagaev, Abdykadyrov's predecessor as akim of the Chui district. He is suspected of abusing his official position. During the investigation, it was revealed that he unlawfully issued certificates for the extraction of sand and gravel mixtures, which harmed state interests.
