An important decision to create the state publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu" was made by President Sadyr Japarov. According to the president's press service, this initiative is aimed at developing state information policy, improving printing infrastructure, ensuring the stable functioning of state media, and optimizing budget expenditures.
According to the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers is tasked with merging several significant media structures, including the publishing houses "Kyrgyz Tuusu" and "Slovo Kyrgyzstana," the children's magazine "Baichichekey," and the literary and artistic magazine "Ala-Too." Based on these, a unified state publishing house will be formed. As a result, the editorial offices of the newspaper "Zhetkinchek" and the magazine "Kyrchin" will be closed.
During the reorganization, the Cabinet of Ministers is required to develop and approve the regulations for the new institution, as well as its staffing schedule and budget. It is specified that the positions in the field of culture, art, and information will be increased by 22 positions. The decree comes into effect from the moment of its official publication.
