The leader of the Batkivshchyna party confirmed that searches were conducted in her party's office, but she rejected all accusations. Tymoshenko noted that the searches lasted all night, during which her "work phones, documents related to parliamentary activities, and personal savings" were seized. The ex-Prime Minister believes that this case is a "political order".
Earlier, Ukraine's anti-corruption authorities announced the start of an investigation against one of the leaders of the parliamentary faction under the article concerning "Offering, promising, or providing unlawful benefits to an official." This crime is punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to ten years according to the law.
It should be noted that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), together with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, is conducting searches as part of a case related to receiving bribes for voting results in the Verkhovna Rada. During the investigation, NABU is uncovering corruption schemes created by high-ranking officials, including the activities of the state concern Energoatom. According to the investigation, these schemes were organized by businessman Timur Mindich, who is accused of bribery and using his connections with the country's leadership.
On November 28, 2025, Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree dismissing the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak.
