In Ukraine, NABU Continues to Expose Corruption in Power: Searches at Arahamiya's Place

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), together with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, is conducting searches as part of an investigation related to the possible receipt of benefits for voting in the Verkhovna Rada. According to the press service of law enforcement agencies, the focus is on the leader of one of the parliamentary factions.

According to the Ukrainian publication "Obozrevatel," the searches also involved Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the Batkivshchyna party, and Davyd Arakhamia, the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada.

The investigation believes that they may have provided illegal advantages to certain deputies in exchange for their votes for or against specific bills.

It is worth noting that NABU is actively investigating corruption schemes involving high-profile officials, including schemes related to the state concern "Energoatom." Businessman Timur Mindich is implicated in the investigation, accused of extorting "kickbacks" for providing contracts and maintaining close relations with the president.
